The term "hard landscaping" refers to all forms of groundworks including paving, drainage, walls and architectural features such as decking, rockeries and ponds. When executed with skill, the imaginative use of materials can enhance the built environment.
Creation of useable living space
This project, for a client in Carlisle, provided for the construction of a stone retaining wall, excavation to create a flat leisure area, removal of 180 tons of spoil, installation of drainage, laying of paving slabs and brick sets, laying of selected stone aggregate and construction of perimeter fencing.
