Kitchen Fitting
CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS
"Basically my kitchen needs taking back to a blank canvas. The following is an outline of work required:
Old kitchen removed including current wall covering. Electric wiring for new sockets inserted as there is currently a limited amount in the kitchen. Kitchen re-plastered. New kitchen fitted. I’m sure I’ve missed something but this is a brief outline of what is required. My preference is to have one person control all work required rather than me having to organise each trade person's arrival."

In short I'd 100% recommended Stephen and his team.
Stephen removed my old kitchen, took the room back to brick including ceiling removal. He then rebuilt the room completely including electrical and plumbing works. He also fitted my new kitchen, tiled the walls, replaced the kitchen window and fitted a new flooring cover.
Essentially he project managed the whole thing from start to end, ensuring all trades persons were on site when required.
While the initial work was being carried out I went on holiday for a week and left him to it. I was amazed by the progress that had been made in such a short space of time.
After-service is key, in my opinion, and again this was superb. I had a few small queries after installation and they were all resolved the same day.
Even though the kitchen had been taken back to brick the house was still practically dust free. If anyone would like before and after pictures I'm happy to provide them.

Conversion
CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS
"Removal of section of partition wall, blocking up of doorway, construction of cupboard in bedroom, making good/plastering and some simple joinery work. Possibly other jobs required once work gets underway. Required asap. The access is good with no issues and we have driveway and parking. Two/three bedroom bungalow in Brampton."

Barn renovation and extensions
CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS
Renovate two existing stone barns, which are attached to a already renovated house, into bedrooms; one with ensuite and completely rebuild another into a kitchen with a conservatory. Planning and building control has been approved and all relevant plans have been prepared. Am looking to start approx March onwards. The property is owned by ourselves. Please note even though the postcode is scottish we are in fact in North East Cumbria."

Double glazed window realignment (uPVC & metal)

Originally booked for a window realignment job but after seeing Stephen's list of other skills I decided to book him for a joinery/carpenters job to extend a built-in bedroom wardrobe space. He did a great job and was friendly throughout with some good advice about further decorating. The guys also fixed a couple other minor plastering issues and re-aligned some faulty windows.

Ceiling removal, restoration work and refurbishment
CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS
"To remove a low ceiling from an already converted barn to reveal the beams in the loft. There is already a Velux window in the roof. We are the owners and the small barn was converted in 2008. It is in very good condition.The rafters have some insulation in but it may need insulated board for further protection; then presumably that will have to be plastered? There is electricity in the loft. Also the beams will need to be rubbed down and stained like the other beams which have been exposed in various rooms. We would want an estimate."
